Question by Marie: I’m writing an essay on contemporary torture techniques and I’m stuck on coming up with a title. Help please?
I’m arguing that torture techniques in modern society (ex sleep deprivation) are more psychologically harmful than medieval torture techniques (which emphasized physical pain ex. quartering/burning/etc.).

Question by Gabe C: What Writing techniques are used in the poem Old Ironsides?

The personal opinions and ill-informed criticism of source information are both inappropriate to critical approach writing. All opinion should be supported by either primary or secondary sources.
An opening tells why your subject matter is significant. Why you have chosen that topic and what are you going to do are to be well explained in the introduction. Your investigation starts here and it creeps towards the main theme of your critical approach writing.

We have to use things like motifs, paradoxes, symbolism, and/or imagry. We need three examples. I am having issues comming up with them. Actually, I am having issues comming up with a thesis. Could anyone help me, spare some ideas for this stupid one. PLEASE HELP ME!
