This question is intended for authors who’d like to do a little creative writing exercise when given sort of a fun “assignment,” even though it won’t be published except for here. Some people ask for ideas for something to write about. This one is just for exercising our brains & creativity, plus thinking how both society & the characters in the movie would have changed over time.
When & where did you see this movie? Was it too radical for some communities? Is it too radical even now for television?
Women have some advantages, for example, women can be very intuitive and they have the ability to blend analysis and creativity; very useful qualities for successful business startup and expansion, as proven by the growing number of successful businesses owned by women.

I’m currently doing most of the work in Photoshop CS2.
I’ll create exercises using MuseScore, save them as .pdf files, open them in Photoshop, crop the exercises and drop them into a “template” I’ve created (CMYK, 300 dps, 8.5 x 11, 1″ margins top & bottom, 1.25″ left & right). I’m doing all layout, text and images (such as keyboard/fretboard fingering charts) in Photoshop – one page at a time. I’m saving the file as flat .pdf copies.
The problem is this is very time consuming and the .pdf files (even flattened) are rather large. Any suggestions?
A would like to do a college admissions resume, but I just don’t know what to put on it. I look around and all I find is resumes templates for jobs and Graduate school. Can someone show me an example of a college admissions resume for a student in high school?
There are so many different fun and exciting things you can do with uniquely personalized stationery. Unfortunately, it seems as if many people have forgotten how writing is an art, and should be treated as such. With the creation of online outlets such as Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter, it is very easy to type out a message to someone online and have them write back almost immediately. People often forget what it feels like to send and receive letters full of ideas, stories, and personal touches via snail mail. If you want to really make a statement on your friends, family, pen pals, or business associates, you can impress them by sending them a letter on personalized stationery.
i need to write an essay on why i want to pursue creative writing. so far i have this:
The reason why I want to pursue creative writing is fairly simple. When I write its like I am putting my feelings out of my brain and sharing it with the rest of the world. When ever I write I feel like I’m doing myself a favor and letting everyone read what I feel and think. I get to explain my many thoughts and beliefs on paper using any technique of writing and words.
can anyone give me some more advice on whatelse i can say in my essay.
The Gospel of Writing According to Marilyn, Chapter Four: Nothing turns out as you expect it to.
That’s the journey. That’s the excitement. That’s the joy of writing. The trick is to let our unconscious take us where we go while we move out of its way. This is true of all creating. This happens all of the time with my authors. When they have an expectation of the result, their writing is labored.
